27th Anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Hair Fire

January 27th, 1984. Michael Jackson and his brothers were filming a Pepsi commercial for the Super Bowl to coincide with the announcement of a reunion tour. The first few takes went off like they were supposed to. The sixth take, not so much. Jackson suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his scalp and face, requiring plastic surgery to repair his hair line. Some say this moment helped solidify Jackson's obsession with plastic surgery and kick-start his addiction to pain killers.  (Video from US Weekly)
