Meet the world's toughest senior citizen.

Eighty-nine-year-old Miyo Koba fought off a robber who entered her Moses Lake, Washington convenience store armed a three-foot long sword last weekend.

Koba has owned Frank’s Superette for 60 years and wasn’t about to let the goon go without a fight.

Koba says the man demanded she open the cash register, but she refused:

He said, ‘Open the till!’ I said, “No I'm not going to open the till for you’, and I said, ‘If you don't get your hands of the till, I'm gonna stab you with the scissors.’”

As it turned out, she didn’t, but her reluctance to open the register didn’t go over well, so he whipped out the sword and pushed her out of the way. “I didn't feel threatened,” she said. “It just probably made me a little bit more brave,” said Koba.

Koba then found a golf club:

I fell down here and so I got into a sitting position. I got into a sitting position and I found the club so I went tried to swing this club at him and I tried to hit his head a couple times but I couldn't reach it.”

Koba managed to hit the robber in his legs before he ran away with the register. Strangely, police later found the register, as well as the man’s clothing. He’s still on the loose.
