Kelly Clarkson is back in a big way in 2012 as is evidenced by the tremendous success of her first two single from her new album "Stronger", the title track of which has been on the Texoma's Most Wanted countdown almost three months.

Kelly Clarkson has always been one to sing about some of the less pleasant parts of life from the beginning.  It always amazed me that the happy-go-lucky girl who won the inaugural season of "American Idol" could really go beyond the shallow end of the music world and give us great songs like "Because Of You", "My Life Would Suck Without You", and now her newest "Dark Side". The only other contemporary pop icon with the same amount of pent up pop angst is P!nk, and we know how successful she's been.

In "Dark Side", Clarkson again explores what it means to be in a relationship from her point of view. She sings about being damaged goods and having a "Dark Side", yet, the song is not a total downer, because, just as in any decent relationship, her partner accepts and understands the reasons she is the way she is. the song is a slow -building powerhouse that truly shows off Clarkson's vocal range, and will definitely be a huge summer hit.  Check it out below:
