What can I say about the story of Noah that you don't already know? We all know the story of Noah and the Ark, a man is chosen by his world's creator to undertake a momentous mission to rescue the innocent before an apocalyptic flood cleanses the wicked from the world. But this is the newer version and in today's version CGI effects and over exaggeration is a couple of ways to describe this movie.

First off when I was in Sunday school I don't remember fallen angels being involved with the building of the ark, nor were there giant rock creatures that pledge their allegiance to Noah. I also noticed a reunion of cast members from other movies in this film, Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelley - 'Beautiful Mind', Emma Watson and Logan Lerman - 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' also Russell Crowe and Logan Lerman - '3:10 to Yuma'.

The movie doesn't really go by the bible, instead it has been rearrange to be more realistic, depressing and have you question Noah's motives, but I have to say the movie kept me intrigued and seeing the flood along the arrival of the animals did answer questions since I was a child.

My final thought when it comes to Noah: if you're looking for a movie that will make you relive the story of the bible and have you yelling hallelujah at the ending credits, then this movie is not for you. It's darker, realistic (besides the rock giants), and scenes of death from humans to animals there's a reason why it's rated PG-13.
