Mr. Carlos Irwin Estevez, better known as Charlie Sheen, is now officially unemployed.  In a statement issued today, Warner Bros. Television has fired Charlie Sheen from "Two and a Half Men".

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services from `Two and A Half Men’ effective immediately.”

Warner Bros. and CBS have yet to make an official decision on the future of the show, which still has a deal for a ninth season.  Rumors have been going around about the possibility of John Stamos replacing Sheen as a new character on the show.  Upon hearing about his termination, Sheen gave an interview to TMZ saying,

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc— again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
