Afroman Arrested For Punching Woman Who Jumps On Stage [VIDEO]

Grammy nominated rapper Afroman was arrested following a performance in Biloxi, MS on Tuesday. The arrest came after Afroman allegedly assaulted a female concert goer at Kress Live.

As seen in the video, the woman gets on stage and starts dancing on the performer while he's playing guitar. He then turns, hits her, and continues the solo.The punch knocked her to the ground.

According to WLOX news, the woman made a citizens arrest and filed an affidavit with the local police. He was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and paid $330 cash to bond out of jail.

According to Billboard, Afroman's rep says, "This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space. It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."

It's still unknown how Afroman will defend his actions, but it's a safe bet to assume he might say it was 'because he got high.'
