If you’ve ever been in the north during the right time of year, you may have seen the northern lights, otherwise known as the Aurora Borealis. Though I’ve witnessed them in North Dakota, they’re not nearly as bright or beautiful as other places in the world such as Alaska, or in this video, Sweden. This particular light show was captured over Abisko National Park, and the images have not been altered. It’s enough to make me want to take a trip during the winter months, even though I avoid snow whenever possible.
