The Voice finale was a huge night for winner [SPOILER ALERT] Alisan Porter — aka the former child star of the 1991 film Curly Sue, whose knockout audition brought judge Christina Aguilera to tears. It was also a big evening for Xtina herself, as Alisan's win marked the first time a female coach's pick has won. But for stans of both the "Dirrty" singer and Ariana Grande, it was all about that performance.

Sporting a white lace choker and a wide-legged white suit — equal parts '90s house diva and early '00s Express store manager — Ariana and her dancers kicked things off with "Into You," her latest Dangerous Woman single. Around a minute after Grande transitioned into the album's title track: "Christina take it away, girl."

Xtina led a group of female dancers onstage, their black outfits in contrast with Team Ari's, and soon put her own spin on the second "Dangerous Woman" verse. The final minute of the performance was a swirling dual exhibition of vocal prowess that, judging by the reaction on Twitter, could have maintain fans' interest for at least an additional hour.

It was a win-win: The world got to see two living vocal powerhouses unite onstage, and we were also spared from the sacked "duet" between Xtina and a spooky, inaccurate hologram likeness of the late Whitney Houston. Watch the performance above.
