Wichita Falls Police have arrested the second individual wanted in the shooting at Mo’s Grocery on Monday afternoon. Michael Graves, aka Michael McGill, was arrested at a home in the 1400 block of Kinsale Court in the City View Heights area earlier this afternoon.

Graves was interviewed by detectives and subsequently charged with capital murder in the death of 63 year-old Muhammed “Mo” Ahmad.  The WFPD press release did not give the suspects age, but it does reveal that Graves had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.   Yesterday police arrested 17 year-old Clifton John Russell IV.  His bond was set at $1.5 million.  He is also facing a charge of capital murder.

Police said Russell and Graves entered the store at approximately 3:45pm and attempted to rob Ahmad, at gunpoint.  Ahmad was shot once in the chest with a handgun.  The two fled down an irrigation canal on foot.  Ahmad died during surgery at United Regional shortly after 6:30 pm Monday evening.
