Tony Kerns

Ok... the easy stuff first.  I was born in Tucson, went to high school here in Wichita Falls (OLD HIGH CLASS OF '99 REPRESENT!), and graduated college in Albuquerque.  I'm happily married to my High School sweetheart Lindsey and we have a beautiful baby girl Madeline (named after one of the funniest women to ever live, Madeline Kahn.)  I'm a huge geek, and proud of it.  At any given time by belt buckle is either Ghostbusters, Superman or Batman, I have many shirts to match those belt buckles, and have more action figures on display in my house than my 8-year-old nephew has in his toy chest. Now for the more introspective stuff...  My wife says that its quite obvious that I was born to entertain people.  In a group of people, if I'm not cracking jokes, people come up and say, "Are you feeling ok?"  Getting people to laugh at something I said or did, and I meant to make them laugh, is the best feeling in the world to me.  Of course I've learned the hard way where and when it is not a good idea to try to make people laugh... like funeral homes or a police line up.

Is There A Ferris Bueller Sequel In The Works? [VIDEO]

26 years after the classic film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" hit theaters, there is rampant speculation that Matthew Broderick will be reprising his role in an upcoming sequel.  The source of the speculation?  A 10 second teaser where Broderick opens the curtains to a hotel room and says "How can I handle work on a day like today?" followed by the iconic soundtrack from the film and the date 2

First Trailer For Local Film “3 Ways To Kill A Mook” [VIDEO]

Back in August, I had the pleasure to interview Nick Turnbow and Jesse Johnson, the minds behind a new local film "3 Ways To Kill A Mook".  Using friends, family, and Hollywood-level equipment, Jesse and Nick were able to knock out principle photography in just three days, using locations like Sala-Deli and a mansion here in Wichita Falls

“The Expendables 2″ Will Be PG-13… Thanks To Chuck Norris

When Sylvester Stallone began working on "The Expendables", he was wanting to make a film that was a throw back to the classic 80s action films that he and several of his co-stars were famous for.  Like those movies, "The Expendables" was a hard "R" rating given the graphic violence and language

George Lucas Retires, Defends “Nuking The Fridge”

In my opinion, George Lucas is the most successful failure of all time.  He's had two good ideas, Star Wars and Indiana Jones, but he needs other people to take charge to carry these ideas into greatness
