Autumn and Princess – Humane Society Pets of the Week!
It wasn’t long ago that we discovered our geriatric cat loves ice in his water. Felix is an older guy and is getting rather vocal about what he wants and doesn’t want, and it just so happens that ice is one of his wants. When he doesn’t have “fresh” water (as in, it’s been in the bowl for two hours), he’ll sit at the bowl and look at us until something is done about the awful situation. If we’re sleeping and he’s looking for ice cubes, he’ll wander around the bedroom meowing until we meet his needs. Though it can be a little annoying at times, Felix has been a part of the household for many years, and we’re willing to make small sacrifices such as getting out of bed when we’d rather be dreaming. Some pets don’t have the luxury of waking up their slumbering guardians, and that’s where you come in.
The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.
May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.
Autumn is a small, short haired, female kitten. She has a lot of energy and loves to play, but she sleeps just as hard as she plays. She’s open to new experiences and has a lot of curiosity. She’s up-to-date on shots and heartworm tested and on preventative. Autumn is a pretty kitty who loves to seek out new things, and your home would be a great place to check out! Stop in to meet her today!
