If you rob a bank you may not want to leave a trail of money like Hansel and Gretel so the cops can find you.

On Monday morning, 24-year-old Kendrick Roby of San Mateo, California robbed a BBVA Compass Bank branch in Redwood City, California.  He shoved the money they gave him in a bag, and took off running.

Apparently he didn't seal the bag right.  So as he ran, bills floated out and left a money trail leading from the bank to his apartment complex.

Fortunately, people didn't just grab the money they called the cops, reported the robbery, and left enough of the money in place that the police could follow the trail right to Kendrick's apartment. He was arrested for robbery.

Next time just leave a map right to your house to make it easier on the police.
