For everyone who got super excited that the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition featured not one, not two, but three extremely sexy babes, I hope this doesn't disappoint you.

It looks like Barbie will be featured on the cover of SI now. Sort of. Barbie's cover wrap (meaning you will still get the cover with the three sexy babes) will appear on about 1,000 copies of the swimsuit edition.

Both Sports Illustrated and Barbie's parent company Mattel have been targeted for the way they portray woman in the past and the cover featuring Barbie has already created a storm online.

Both companies are claiming that they are not portraying woman in any negative light but instead are "focusing on the legendary women of Sports Illustrated who, like Barbie, launched their careers in a swimsuit (Tyra Banks, Christie Brinkley, Heidi Klum),” according to Lisa McKnight, senior vice president of marketing for North America at Mattel.

While most people are wasting their time arguing their side of the argument, that is not why we are here.

SI shot a promotional video of the 'photo shoot' with Barbie which is absolutely hilarious and just a tiny bit creepy.

They enlisted veteran photographer Walter Iooss to take the pictures and according to him, "She (Barbie) takes instructions almost silently, that's why she's the best model I've ever worked with."

Now I understand this guy is a veteran, but did anybody take the time to tell him that Barbie isn't a real person? I don't think so.

The video only gets weirder, in a good way, as it goes on so check it out for yourself below.
