The fallout from the investigation of Baylor University's handling of accusations of sexual assaults may have another casualty. Just days after reports that university president Ken Star is being removed by the board of regents, numerous sources are reporting that head football coach Art Briles is also being fired.

The school is currently being sued by woman who claims the school waited nearly two years to investigate a rape by former player Tevin Elliott. As of now, Elliot and former player Sam Ukwuachu have been convicted of sexual assaults while at Baylor and former players Shawn Oakman and Tre'Von Armstead have been accused of rape or sexual assault.

The results of the investigation have not publicly been released yet, but reports say it doesn't look good for Baylor. WFAA's Doug Hansen recently released an op-ed calling for Briles' firing and saying that the coach had failed the women of Baylor.

Briles has been Baylor's head football coach since 2008. In that time he took the worst program in the Big 12 and within three seasons had them in a bowl game. The team won back-to-back Big 12 Championships in 2013 and 2014. Briles had a 65-37 record at Baylor with a record of 39-30 in the Big 12. Sources report that defensive coordinator Phil Bennett will be named the interim coach for the time being.
