At this point, trying to count how many videos include Carly Rae Jepsen‘s viral hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ is akin to counting how many stars there are in the universe. Abercrombie & Fitch models have lip-synced it, the Cookie Monster has spoofed it, and even Katy Perry and her friends released their own homage after Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez did their own.
But while we may not know exactly how many versions are out there, we do know the latest ‘Call Me Maybe’ video to gain fame: ladies and gentlemen, we give you the US Olympic swim team.
We admit that we’re suffering a bit of ‘Call Me Maybe’ fatigue, but since the Summer Olympics opened on Friday, we’ll give this one a pass. Throughout the clip, you’ll see swimmers like eight-time medalist Michael Phelps, his rival Ryan Lochte and rising star Missy Franklin all take a turn mouthing the words to the song an awful lot of people wish would just go away already.
That said, if we were handing out medals for cute, this video would take the gold.
