Why buy art made of breast milk when you can eat it instead? Lollyphile, out of Austin, Texas, is offering up some unique sweets. One of the strangest is breast milk flavored lollipops, which they say will bring up your animal instinct.

Their Web site states:

So what's happening is that suddenly it seems as though a lot of our friends are having babies. And since some of us are confectioners, we felt it was our responsibility to find out just what this flavor was that could turn a screaming, furious infant into a placid, contented one. Surely the flavor must be heavenly, yes? (ps there's no actual breast milk in these. they're vegan! omg the armies of pumping women.)

The thought process behind the lollipops seems solid enough, but how curious will people be to try them? You get four for $10, with the price going down when you buy higher quantities.

But wait, there’s more!

Lollyphile offers more than just breast milk flavored lollipops. Other limited edition flavors include Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, Horchata, Habanero Tequila, and Chocolate Bacon. They also offer a regular line of lollipops with flavors like Bourbon, Lavender, Maple Bacon, Salty Dog, Sriracha, and Absinthe, which is their best-selling flavor.

Why do they do it? Their “About” section explains:

We believe that candy can be every bit as much a gastronomical adventure as a fancy dinner, and we want to see just how far we can go. We want to make you remember exactly why you threw fits when your parents wouldn’t buy you candy, and then we’d like to gently remind you that you’re perfectly able to buy your own candy now. Good thing you saved your allowance, yeah?

Now who’s up for buying some candy?
