Construction Underway for New Chick-fil-A Restaurant in Wichita Falls
The long wait is over! Well almost over.
The beloved 'Eat Mor Chikin' cows are on their way back to Wichita Falls. Construction for the new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Wichita Falls is underway in the Wichita Square shopping center on the corner of Kemp and Call Field - next to Chili's and in front of Shoe Carnival to be exact.
Although the return of Chick-fil-A is exciting news, many residents have already expressed their concerns about the chosen location for the new restaurant. Some are calling it a 'horrible location' that will prove to be a traffic and parking nightmare. Even if that is the case, there isn't much that will keep Chick-fil-A enthusiasts from getting a taste of those famous nuggets, sandwiches and waffle fries.
The Chick-fil-A in Wichita Falls will be a full size restaurant with over 100 indoor seats, play area, and a drive-thru. According to Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn Barham, the new Chick-fil-A will open its doors to the public sometime in May of this year.
