Culinary Specialist Jamie Dunn Blends Passion and Skill to Share the Season’s Best Recipes, Tips, and Techniques

Meet Taste of Home Culinary Specialist Jamie Dunn. Jamie conducts Cooking School shows across the country. Her love of traveling to experience the flavors of different cities combined with her enthusiasm for cooking allows her to share her culinary passion with people just like you!

When did her love for the kitchen start? As a teenager Jamie enjoyed working with her dad in the kitchen as he often experimented with different cooking techniques including preparing breads, candies and jams.

The passion continued from there -- Jamie received her degree in Home Economics Education from Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater, OK. Her previous experience includes working as a Culinary Instructor for Tulsa Technology and Bama Cooking Schools and teaching High School Home Economics.

When asked what her favorite part of the Cooking School experience is, Jamie replied,

“It is the people that come to the cooking school that really make it so much fun. Whether someone is at the school for the first time or the tenth there is always something new to be experienced and fun to be had with new recipes and great prizes.”

Jamie resides in Owasso, OK with her husband and three sons. Some of her favorite activities include cooking for family and friends, canning, cake decorating and gardening.

Jamie is looking forward to coming to do the Taste of Home Cooking School at the MPEC in Wichita Falls.
