Dead Man Foots Bill And Joins Friends During Night Of Drinking

Just like something out of a movie, two men discovered a friend dead in his home recently and must have decided to let the guy have one more night of fun. They loaded his body into a vehicle and then proceeded to drink and go to strip clubs, all on the dead man’s ATM card.

Robert Young and Mark Rubinson have been charged with abusing a corpse, identity theft, and criminal impersonation. They should have seen it coming.

It started when one of the men found Jeffrey Jarrett dead in his home. He left to grab his buddy, and that’s when they loaded up the body and went off to have a night of drinking. Before calling the police, they also withdrew $400 from Jarrett’s bank account.

The men are not suspects in the death, and toxicology tests are being done to determine the cause of death.

These guys are being awarded my morons of the week seal of approval. What is unclear to me is why they needed to take the body with them while going out drinking. They didn’t take him in with them, but opted to leave the body in their vehicle. Why not just leave him at home and steal his wallet? Did they feel better about it since he was “with” them on their night out?

I think I would have just called the cops to begin with. Frankly, I don’t want a dead body in my car.
