This past Saturday, the "Material Middle-Aged Girl" made an appearance at the Ultra Music Festival, asking the crowd if anyone has seen "Molly".  That didn't sit well with Deadmau5, who says Madonna was making a reference to the drug Ecstasy.

The name "Molly" is reportedly a slang term for "MDMA", the chemical name for Ecstasy.  Madonna's new album is even titled "MDNA", an abbreviation of her name which is also believed to be a play on "MDMA".  After the concert, Deadmau5 took to Facebook to express frustration with Madonna,

"Very classy there madonna. 'HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???' such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra.

"Quite the f'n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! f------ cant smack my head hard enough right now."

Madonna has never been one to shy away from controversy, but if she were in fact making a reference to Ecstasy, did she go too far?

UPDATE:  Madonna tweeted an old picture of herself wearing Mickey Mouse ears, saying,

“From one mouse to another I dont support drug use and i never have. I was referring to the song called “Have You Seen Molly” written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album.”
