Music fans have been feuding over Flo Rida, like many rap artist he  loves to sample and collaborate and while he has worked with many pop princesses such as Fergie, Taylor Swift and Ke$ha his new Hit Good Feeling's unusual co-star 71 year old Soul singer Etta James may have been ripped off from another artist.

The song caused controversy as  indie music fans accused Flo-Rida of plagiarizing lesser known artist Pretty lights and an E-brawl broke out.

But it turns out that Etta James is the true original check out the original song below:

The irony here is back in 2008 Ms. James was furious when Beyonce covered her song "At Last " at the inauguration ball and told TMZ. James said,

".. I can't stand Beyoncé. She has no business up there, singing up there on a big ol' president day, gonna be singing my song that I've been singing forever."

Makes me wonder if Flo Rida has paid his dues. But James does have a point too many artist sample without giving due credit. I'm not sure but Good Feeling does make me feel great!

What do you think, should the song say "featuring Etta James"? Do too many artist sample these days? Sound off in the comments below or tell me on twitter @JasmineEmedia
