Demi Lovato is wasting no time in 2017: While the "Body Say" singer revealed she was back in the studio at the end of last year, Lovato shared proof of her most recent sessions today (January 18). And judging by the fact that she also shared a brief snippet of the results, things went well.

Lovato posted the video in her Instagram story, along with a photo of herself with "the legend Diane Warren." Warren posted her own pic as well, writing, "First session in da new studio!! @ddlovato showing em how it's done!!! #Smashes."

Warren, an Emmy and Grammy-winning songwriter, was nominated for her eighth Best Original Song Academy Award in 2016 for Lady Gaga's "Til It Happens To You," written for campus rape documentary Hunting Ground. Warren's also worked with artists including Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Elton John and Celine Dion — so yeah, Demi's in good company.

Lovato and Warren previously teamed up for "Heart By Heart" for 2013's The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones soundtrack.
