Disney is Bringing Back ‘DuckTales’

We're big fans of the classic Disney cartoon DuckTales around here, so you can bet we were excited about this news. Disney is bringing back the show!

According to the Huffington Post, the series will return with new episodes to Disney XD in 2017. Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming and General Manager for Disney XD said, "DuckTales has a special place in Disney's TV animation history, it drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks' comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults. Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation."

We may still have to wait a couple years before our favorite set of duck triplets and their money-loving uncle take us on some crazy adventures, but knowing that it's on the way is good news. In the meantime, here's the DuckTales theme song recreated with actual ducks.
