When you’ve been drinking, you should never drive. When you’re a dude who’s wasted and driving, your best bet is to refrain from pulling over and asking the police for directions. Yet that’s exactly what a man in Maryland recently did.

An officer was parked on the side of the road when another vehicle swerved up and parked in front of the police cruiser. Gerald Steier, the driver of the other vehicle, stumbled out, barely able to walk. He then asked the cop for directions.

Naturally, the officer could tell Steier was intoxicated, and charged the man with drunken driving and consuming alcohol in a vehicle. There were open containers found in the car.

Why, oh why, do people continue to be so dumb? I suppose it gives me a chance to laugh at someone other than myself.
