An early morning rollover accident near Electra claimed the life of an area woman.

According to the Department of Public Safety, 58-year-old Sharon Nason was driving south on US 287 service road just outside of Electra at around midnight.  DPS says Nason steered her 2000 Ford Pickup to the left and off of the roadway.  She then over-corrected to the right causing the truck to roll.  Nason was ejected from the truck.  She died at the scene. She reportedly was not wearing her seat belt.

This is the fifth auto related fatality in Texoma since 11 am last Friday.
