You don’t have to wake up the neighbors.  But you shouldn’t be silent either.  It won’t be GREAT unless you let the other person know they’re doing a good job.

Your Bedroom is a Mess

Apparently a messy bedroom can be distracting for some people . . . or even stressful, especially if you have bills or papers from work lying around. Once you get started, you probably won’t even notice if the room is messy.  But apparently it can be a mood-killer leading up to the big event.

It Takes You Fifteen Minutes Just to Prepare

Women are usually the ones who do this, and guys hate it.  If you have to shower, brush your teeth, take out your contacts, and wash your face before you get busy, chances are it won’t be very good.

You Act Like It’s a Favor

This one’s mainly for women too:  Chances are if you treat it like something HE wants to do but YOU don’t, it won’t be very good. With that said, most guys would rather it be bad than none at all.  So don’t worry about this one too much.

You Jump Out of Bed the Second It’s Over

If you wanna shower, fine.  But just lie there for a few minutes first. If you immediately jump up and leave the room, it sends a message that you think you just did something gross, which isn’t much of a turn-on.  And if it happens consistently, it can be a major turn-off.

I don’t know how much stock to put into this, but there’s a new ailment to worry about. It’s called “Smartphone Face”. Apparently, you are at risk if you are one of those people who spend their day staring down at their smartphones.

So, again, what EXACTLY is it? It happens when you keep your head tilted downward to stare at your phone all the time . . . the skin on your face may lose its tightness, and your facial muscles could lose their strength. And that can lead to sagging skin, drooping jowls, a double chin, and wrinkles from the corners of your mouth down to your chin.

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons says TONS of people are developing Smartphone Face without realizing it.  And as a result, skin tightening treatments and chin implants are two of the fastest-rising cosmetic surgeries.

But supposedly there’s another reason for the increase.  Our smartphones aren’t just warping our faces . . . video chatting makes us more aware than ever of how saggy our faces look, because of the lower-quality camera and unflattering angle.

On tonight’s (May 16) episode of the penultimate week of Season 11 of ‘American Idol,’ the final 3 — Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez — sang a trio of songs for three rounds of competition. One was chosen by the judges, one by the contestants themselves and one by series mentor and Interscope Records chief Jimmy Iovine. It was a whole lot of singing with a lot on the line, as the final two competitors will be determined in 24 hours. Hello, nail biting situation!

Here’s PopCrush’s recap on how the ep shook down.

JOSHUA LEDET:

Everything he did tonight was good and Gospel-flavored. He leaves it all on the stage, with his natural ability to sing and to perform. He adds touches, like ripping off his jacket and his inner ear monitors. He’s a total package. We’d be shocked if he goes home. Seriously.

Judge’s Choice: He slayed Etta James’ ‘I’d Rather Go Blind,’ nailing every single sweet spot. Out of 70,000 contestants, there is only one ‘Idol’ and he sang like he was the one. Hard to beat, for sure.

Personal Choice: He showed us he can do subdued with his soulful rendition of The Beatles‘ ‘Imagine.’

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: Mary J. Blige‘s ‘No More Drama’ is the perfect marriage of R&B and church, and since J. Lo is like the male Mary J., the song played to all his strengths. He sang with a Gospel fire and came alive on the stage, ripping off that jacket.

JESSICA SANCHEZ:

She is going to have a long career in music since she has such a money voice. Her youth, though, make us think now is not the right time for her. That said, she continues to rack up flawless performances that are predictable. When she gets a little more life lived in her, that “edge” we desire will manifest itself. Overall, though, Bebe Chez can sing her patoot off and we predict massive things for her.

Judge’s Choice: The belter and last female standing offered up a beautifully refined rendition of Mariah Carey‘s ‘My All.’ She showed restraint and a quiet tenderness. We can’t deny it was pretty, even though it lacked any sort of edge.

Personal Choice: She went the ballad route with Aerosmith‘s ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.’ She hit all the notes but it wasn’t anything particularly moving. She struggles to “connect,” despite performing in flawless fashion.

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: The Jackson 5′s ‘I’ll Be There’ was her Iovine selection and she once again delivered a quality rendition and showed off a soulful tone. It lacked that “WOW! OMG!” moment.

PHILLIP PHILLIPS:

The girls love him, and he is artistic, yet does his own thing without catering to anyone else. He also goes off the melody of his songs and twists them to create something unique. But tonight, for his final performance, he stuck to the melody and had the moment. If he’s not in the finals, it’ll be criminal.

Judge’s Choice: He owned the melody of Madcon’s ‘Beggin’,’ a song you likely never heard. While the DMB comparisons haunt the double P, he is a true artist and the way he handled the mid-section of the song had us buying what he was selling. Steven Tyler said once he writes his own songs, he’ll be a new age Boss, as in Bruce Springsteen. HUGE compliment.

Personal Choice: He sang Matchbox 20′s ‘Disease,’ giving it a bit of a funky, jazzy feel. Only Phillip Phillips can turn radio rock into something totally fresh and new. However, the judges hated it.

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: The song has a great melody and an emotional and romantic timbre, but the masculine quality was the reason that Iovine chose Bob Seger‘s ‘We’ve Got Tonight.’ It played to PP’s male and female fanbase. We can sum it up in one simple word: SWOOOOOOOOON! Dressed in black and singing while seated, Phillips showed us a tender, leading man side. His voice changed shape and he ventured into new territory. The ending where he harmonized with the choir? We got goosies, J. Lo.

I’d just like to say that, if the boss is reading this, I HAVE NEVER stolen any office supplies and think that people who do should be terminated immediately, awarded no points, and God needs to have mercy on their soul.  That said, According to a survey by an office supply company called Banner Business Services, two thirds of us have stolen office supplies at work.  And it costs companies $3.2 billion a year. Here’s a list of the top 10 most stolen office supplies:

POST-IT NOTES Post-It Notes are one of those stupid inventions that I literally kick myself for not having come up with. No surprise they are number one, I mean, has ANY individual EVER actually purchased these things for personal use?

TAPE Yep, good, old tape. You never seem to have any around the house when you need it, and just imagine how much money you would have to spend on it if you actually bought the tape to wrap your Christmas presents. Thank goodness you have a cushy office job!

SCISSORS You have to wonder how many pair of scissors from a school supply list have actually come from some employers office? Additionally, theft has just about wiped out all of the scissors here at the station. Really? I only need a some once in a blue moon, but they can never be found!

TOILET PAPER First of all, if you have good toilet paper at your office, you are truly blessed among workers. We have the standard two-ply finger-jabber here so I would have to be pretty desperate to steal it. That said, however, if given a choice between junk mail and stealing the stuff from here… well… let’s just say I understand.

COPIER PAPER It’s bad enough ink cartridges for my printer at home cost more than their value in gold, but you expect me to buy PAPER, too????? Let’s be reasonable here, the office won’t miss 1 or 2 packages will it?

USB MEMORY STICKS Honestly, I have never had an office buy these things, usually some vendor gives them away to customers or whatever. Storage is cheap these days anyways.

NOTEPADS Do you really have to steal these? Whenever I need one, I just go ask our office manager and it’s given no-questions-asked. maybe that privilege only extends to certain job descriptions, but I am absolutely sure I have never stolen one of these.

PENS Really, I am surprised this isn’t number 1. Who hasn’t stolen a pen? I’m not sure they have any value anyway. The radio station has been circulating the same pens since 1995. No joke, someone will steal one off my desk, and then, I’ll steal someone elses, and then two weeks later I find the original one that stolen from me. It’s the pen circle of life.

STAPLERS I NEVER have to staple anything at home so I don’t know what to make of this. I think that maybe people think a desk isn’t complete without one and steal them for purely decorative reasons.

HIGHLIGHTERS Yep, I’m not sure why they don’t fall into the pen category, but highliters rounds out the list. School projects for the kids HAVE TO BE DONE. Why buy when you can “borrow” the office’s?

In New Zealand, a photo of a beer-drinking bride has sparked a serious amount of controversy, with detractors arguing that it’s unbecoming. Hey, why can’t a woman in a wedding dress enjoy a brew? We don’t get it.

Katrina Hayman, who works as a pig midwife (that’s a real thing apparently), was photographed by the Taranaki Daily News during a Bride of the Year competition while knocking back a tallboy. The image immediately caused a furor online, with one critic actually describing the photo as “disgusting.”

A poll conducted by the website stuff.co.nz later asked whether beer is an appropriate choice of beverage for a bride. As of this writing, 62.6% of respondents said yes, 13.5% said it was “tacky” and 23.9 percent said beer is fine, but only out of “an elegant glass.”

As for Hayman, the farm worker said she has difficulty understanding the hubbub. “I mean that is just the type of person I am,” she said. “I don’t like to portray myself as someone I am not. A lot of females drink beer and it’s just I felt more comfortable having a beer than having a wine.”

So, I’m just minding my business, working here at the station last week when my wife calls and tells me brimming with excitement, “I just bought a porno book!” Naturally, I thought she had gone and lost her mind again, but then she told me that the book she bought was “50 Shades Of Grey”, a new York Times Bestseller. If it is on the New York Times list, how bad could it be?

So, I waited until she was not reading the book, and took a gander for myself. Oh… My… God… Are you kidding me? I won’t bore you with the details but I am blushing right now about some of the things I read, (and had to read twice, or even three times for research purposes.) Note that Public Libraries in Florida, Wisconsin, and Georgia have banned the book, labeling it indecent.

I swear, you can’t go anywhere in Wichita Falls these days without running into them.  The large, black, ground beetle that seems to be everywhere this year.  Mater of fact, our Digital Managing Editor’s daughter stepped on no less than 20 of the creepy-crawlies walking into the Carmike at Sikes Center Mall.  I have also seen them in droves in the Fidelity Bank building parking lot and flower beds coming into work.  So, we asked somebody who would know, What gives?

Ken Putnam is the owner of Putnam Pest Service here in Wichita Falls, TX.  Ken has over 14 years of experience in dealing with all kinds of gross things from bugs to pythons.  When it comes to this year’s crop of black beetles, well, he says it was kind of to be expected:

The black beetles running wild this year are just your ordinary ground beetles. They tend to be a very cyclical insect, meaning that every few years they tend to hit a population peak.  Add to that all the rain we have had this spring and they were destined to be out in force.

While I was speaking with Ken, our General Manager popped her head into the office and wanted to know if they are what you call “Stink Bugs”? Ken went on:

A lot of people think that, but a stink bug is a different type of insect.  I will say this, though, the ground beetles will release a smelly chemical that they use as a defense mechanism so if you handle them your hands will get smelly.  Of course, if you step on them, you get a real dose of unpleasantness.  Other than that, the only other danger to humans is the small chance they might actually grab some skin in their pinchers, but even that would be a minor thing.

So, what’s the deal, Ken? How long are we stuck with these things all over the place?

Two things could happen, first, if we end up with another dry, and very hot summer like last year, they’ll disappear pretty quickly as their food source will dry up.  However, if that is not the case, expect to see them around for the next 3-4 months provided they have food and water.

Great, I’d rather have the bugs than a repeat of last years miserable summer.  So I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they stick around.  One more gross thing about the bugs, though.  Maybe their food supply is starting to get low already, seeing how I have seen a couple already turning to CANNIBALISM! That’s right, when their food gets low they start eating each other. I saw one today enjoying his friend with some fava beans and a nice Chianti, Hannibal Lecter style.

OneRepublic drummer Edward Ray Fisher had a bad day, it seems. The skinsman was arrested in Denver, Colo. this morning (May 15), with cops claiming he flipped out and went into a destructive rage, according to TMZ. A destructive rage? Yikes.

TMZ also obtained the kit minder’s mugshot, which you can view by clicking below. Check out his forehead, which boasts a circular, bloodied injury that made us say “Ouch” upon looking at it. That thing looks painful. It’s not been determined how he sustained the gash, but it’s likely due to his “destructive rage.”

Fisher was booked for destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault. Further details on what he destroyed and why, not to mention how, are TBD. We’ll fill you in as we find out what the heck happened.

Fisher, 38, resides in Denver. He is due in Denver County Court tomorrow (May 16) to answer the charges.

Howard Stern takes his gig as a judge on ‘America’s Got Talent‘ seriously — and during last night’s debut (May 14), the radio host earned rave reviews. We’re not shocked. Stern is the best thing that could have happened to the show, as his frank and candid commentary is just what a show like ‘AGT’ needs!

According to MTV, Stern’s reviews garnered near-universal praise, collecting comments from top critics across the country, who obviously connected with the fact that he wants to be on that show and likes his job.

The Los Angeles Times claimed that “like fellow judges Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, he [Stern] meant to play the game the way the game is meant to be played, because, to a deep degree, he believes in it.” True dat!

The Washington Post said that Stern dished out “a tiny bit of brutal honesty” — we think “tiny bit” is an understatement, just sayin’ — while basking “in the show’s trademark combination of awkwardness, ingenuity and love.” Anyone who listens to the Stern show on a daily basis knows that the “shock jock” is the king of the nerds, albeit one who isn’t afraid to talk to porn stars and their backdoor bedroom habits. For the most part, he kept the R-rated material off the show and focused on the contestants in fair fashion.

The New York Daily News said it best by proclaiming, “Inviting Stern on ‘AGT’ is not like inviting the Sex Pistols to crash ‘La Traviata’ at the Met. ‘America’s Got Talent’ didn’t hire Stern to inject outrageous and wacky. It didn’t need to. It has ‘em already.” Stern, instead, was “caught up in the show’s figurative group hugs and four-handkerchief moments.” His commentary proved that he is a softy at heart, but can be critical when necessary. Sort of like…a parent!

PEOPLE even gave him props, saying,”Stern showed a lot of heart and proved he’s got talent — for judging!” His fans already knew that!

When Adam Lambert signed a record deal after finishing second in Season 8 of ‘American Idol,’ some questioned whether his glam-rock leanings could be successful in today’s pop music environment.

The singer and his following of Glamberts proved the doubters wrong with ‘For Your Entertainment,’ which produced a Top 10 single, earned a Grammy nomination and achieved Platinum status.

But while ‘For Your Entertainment’ was a credible debut, Lambert’s second album, ‘Trespassing,’ more fully captures his personality. It’s a better representation of the singer’s own personal style, his interests and his desires. Lyrically, the subject matter ranges from pro-freak anthems to carefree songs about partying all night to serious political discussions about gay rights.

‘Trespassing’ hit retailers today, May 15, and PopCrush is giving you our track-by-track review of the 15 songs on the deluxe edition.

1. ‘Trespassing’
Fans got a preview of the title track during Lambert’s performance at the NewNowNext Awards. The song features stomping drums, heavy guitars and a large dose of attitude as Lambert sings about trying to make himself at home, even when he feels like an outsider. He snarls, “No trespassing? Yeah, my a–! Wait ‘til you get a load of me!”

2. ‘Cuckoo’
“Now the crazy train is ready to roll,” Lambert sings on this electro-pop track that seems destined to become a dance club hit. He wants to lose his mind like a maniac and party like he just got out of a straightjacket. Who doesn’t feel that way sometimes? “We’ve gone cuckoo,” he declares, his falsetto miming the sound of a cuckoo clock.

3. ‘Shady’
The funk and disco undertones of ‘Shady’ should be no surprise considering that Chic’s guitarist Nile Rodgers guests on the track. ‘Shady,’ which the singer has described as “Nine Inch Nails meets Saturday Night Fever,” is the kind of song that not many performers could pull off in 2012, but Lambert makes it work.

4. ‘Never Close Our Eyes’
Adam teams up with Bruno Mars and Dr. Luke on ‘Never Close Our Eyes,’ a song that reflects the input of each musician with a dance beat, acoustic guitar and catchy melody. Lambert wants to forget about sleep, stay up late and enjoy life with a special someone, living without consequence. [Listen Here]

5. ‘Kickin’ In’
‘Kickin’ In’ is the record’s second Pharrell Williams collaboration and its first slight misstep. With synth whooshes, awkward vocal loops, and a strange lyric about a girl who can’t leave the shot glass alone, there’s a lot going on, and it doesn’t all fit together.

6. ‘Naked Love’
This unabashedly pop offering sounds like something straight out of the Katy Perry or Kesha playbook, with its bouncy melody, “whoa-oh-oh” chant and the innuendo-laden hook, “I want your naked love / So don’t you dress it up tonight.” ‘Naked Love’ isn’t very innovative, but we can’t get it out of our head!

7. ‘Pop That Lock’
After its most straightforward pop moment, ‘Trespassing’ heads back to the dance floor with ‘Pop That Lock,’ a song on which the “Banshee boys and dancey girls get down.” Right after the second verse, where you might typically expect a guest verse from a rapper, Lambert instead gives us an instrumental dubstep breakdown, but otherwise, the track isn’t memorable.

8. ‘Better Than I Know Myself’
‘Better Than I Know Myself’ was a disappointing choice as the album’s lead single, simply because most of the album’s other songs are way more edgy and exciting. Not surprisingly, the borderline adult contemporary tune failed to light up the charts, even if it does show off Lambert’s incredible vocal range. [Listen Here]

9. ‘Broken English’
This one starts out slow, with Lambert mumbling something about the Tower of Babel falling down, and it never quite recovers. It’s a ballad that tries to break the mold with a few electro elements, but the heart of the song is a bad pun: “Now your body language is broken English.”

10. ‘Underneath’
“Everybody wants to talk about a freak / No one wants to dig that deep / Let me take you underneath,” Lambert urges gently on the standout track ‘Underneath.’ It slowly unfolds as a piano ballad before building to a haunting climax, in which he belts out a message about wanting people to get beneath the surface to see the real Adam.

11. ‘Chokehold’
‘Chokehold’ is a basic pop-rock song that relies a little too heavily on lyrical cliches, but tells an interesting story. Lambert knows that being in this particular relationship is like being in a chokehold, but he wonders if he likes the pain, because he can’t bring himself to break it off.

12. ‘Outlaws of Love’
Lambert chooses to end the basic edition of ‘Trespassing’ with his much-discussed song about the struggle for equality. He sings, “Everywhere we go we’re lookin’ for the sun / Nowhere to grow old, we’re always on the run / They say we’ll rot in Hell, but I don’t think we will / They’ve branded us enough, outlaws of love.” Lambert capably captures the frustration of the gay community in lines like, “All we know is no / Nights are getting colder” and “Scars make us who we are / Hearts and homes are broken.” [Listen Here]

Bonus tracks:

13. ‘Runnin’’
With an ’80s rock vibe and some of Lambert’s most impressive vocals, ‘Runnin” sounds so different from the rest of ‘Trespassing’ that it would have been a welcome addition to the proper album. The bonus track finds Lambert singing about his tendency to run from his heart.

14. ‘Take Back’

The closing ballad ‘Nirvana’ isn’t one of the strongest tracks on the album, but the song is noteworthy for its hint of R&B as Lambert unleashes his falsetto, singing, “We can escape to a higher plane in nirvana / Stay where the dreamers lay / I’ll lay you down, lay you down.”

Dear Guys, I hope you appreciate the wonder that is makeup.

People magazine recently ran, in their “Beautiful People” issue, a spread of women who agreed to be photographed without a stitch of makeup. People like Jessica Pare (Don Draper’s new wife on Mad Men), Paula Patton, Lily Collins, Zooey Deschanel and more agreed to bare it, grinning sheepishly into the camera with no definition to their eyebrows and nothing covering the little lines on their faces. Soon to follow was AnnaLynne McCord tweeting pics without face paint (see above).

This is huge, as most makeup-free shots of celebs are done while they’re running out of a grocery store with kitty litter, mortified.

I thought the women looked lovely and a bit different, so I decided to ask the general public, aka the Twitterverse, what they thought of Zooey’s pic specifically, as Zooey is often exalted to goddess-like levels of inspiration for be-banged girls like myself.

Here’s what I heard:

“She looks tired, like she’s working really hard/not sleeping. Also older. A little like Julianne Moore’s face. Also less pixie.”
“My first thought was she looked like a normal person.”
“Well, without makeup, her eyes don’t seem to ‘pop’ as much.”
“She looks a little older, but still crazy hot.”

Most girls, especially girls like myself with nearly see-through eyelashes and eyebrows, will tell you that when they start dating a dude, it takes them weeks to present themselves sans fardis. I think of myself as fairly happy with my looks and a feisty feminist, and yet I have been known to wake up at 7am to go wash my face and reapply eye makeup before crawling back in bed to wake up hours later, fresh and doe-eyed, with a new dude. And yes, she does look gorgeous without makeup on, but that’s not the Zooey we know. We know pop-eyed false eyelash Zooey, and we want to be her.

Is makeup a feminist issue? Yes and no. Sure, society judges us ladies if we don’t present ourselves a certain way, and sure, that way is basically unattainable without lots of money for makeup and also a makeup artist that gossips while dusting you with light-reflecting powder, but also, it looks cool. I like the fact that I have several different versions of my face, and I like the creativity involved with making my face look different ways.

But regardless of the politics, what I do know is that it’s time for you dudes to stop giving us crap about how much time we spend applying makeup. When we take 15 minutes to precisely line our eyes, we’re doing it in the spirit of becoming the unattainable, we do it for fantasy, we do it for the hope that whatever we look like before, we look like Zooey Farking Deschanel afterwards. Makeup is the miracle that makes the face do all the things that signal to cavemen that we are fertile and ready to have sex. (You know, the flushed cheeks, the wide open eyes, the red lips that look like labia, etc).

I know I’m not telling you anything you don’t know by asserting that women look different without makeup on, but as long as there are People layouts celebrating the naked faces of women that men drool over, there should be a bit of a salute to the work that everyday women do, well, every day. No one’s applauding us for going out barefaced, or for how big of a transformation we make with a bit of concealer and black powder, but if you’re in love with a woman and she wears makeup, do yourself a favor: Tell her that you love her without makeup, but that you love that she puts effort into herself by wearing makeup too.

Then sit back and get ready to get laid.

The cast and crew of The Empire Strikes Back faced a daunting task – how to follow Star Wars, the blockbuster which had reinvented science fiction on the silver screen overnight and instantly become the favorite film of millions of cinema-goers.

The film actually began filming in frozen Norway for the “Hoth” scenes in the worst snow-storm in 50 years. that still didn’t stop the cast and crew from having a great time.  Neither did the massive expectations for the film after the success of “Star Wars”.  Enjoy the Pictures!

Rectum? It nearly killed him! I really don’t know what to say about a story like this except OMG!!! I’d like to give tentative congratulations to 29-year-old Alex Boulet of Staten Island, New York.  Because while I can’t guarantee this is a record,  he just might have managed to cram more drugs in his rectum than anyone else ever!

Back on the 4th, a Vermont state trooper saw Alex swerving in his Chevy Malibu and pulled him over.  During a pat down, the trooper,  ”felt a hard object . . . that was separate and not natural.” (??)   Investigators got a warrant for an X-ray.

The X-ray showed foreign objects in his rectum, so Alex was given a laxative and some coffee.  And out came a plastic bag containing 84 individually-wrapped crack rocks.  That’s a TON of drugs in his rectum.  But it didn’t stop there.

Another X-ray showed there was still more inside Alex.  So, with the help of more laxatives and coffee, five hours after passing the crack rocks he passed two plastic bags with 218 Oxycodone pills.  And he still wasn’t done!

A THIRD X-ray showed MORE drugs.  So, yep, he took more laxatives and drank more coffee . . . and out came the final bag, containing 11.5 grams of marijuana. He was charged with possession of all three drugs and is currently in jail.

Born May 1st, Jessica Simpson’s daughter is sure to be a beautiful girl - between her own flawless face and her hot hubby’s good looks, how could she not? But how much will Simpson be cashing in on little Maxwell Drew’s cute little baby face?

Jessica Simpson has sold the first pics of her newborn daughter Maxwell to ”People” magazine for $800,000.

That’s on the low-end for celebrity baby pics.  Four years ago, “People” shelled out $11 million for the first shots of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie twins.

Although industry people have said numerous times that the market for baby photos will NEVER get that outrageous again.

On the other hand, Beyonce and Jay-Z didn’t make a dime off their daughter Blue Ivy.  They just posted pictures of her online.

Every once in a while, someone comes along on one of those reality talent shows to showcase their truly impressive skills. But as far as we’re concerned, the shirtless and flexible Billy George is the best we’ve ever seen and proves that Britain really does have some talent.

It’s not that his acrobatic skills with that giant hoop aren’t enthralling, but we’re frankly more captivated by those abs of his. This guy may not have taken home the grand prize this time around, but he definitely has a future as a male model. Sorry, Susan Boyle, but we’d like to focus now on the hot guy with the big… hula hoop.

It’s official! Demi Lovato is now an ‘X Factor‘ judge.

TMZ reports that Lovato, like fellow new judge Britney Spears, will hit up New York City to finalize her paperwork for the gig tomorrow (May 14). Though Lovato is scheduled to tour this summer, her ‘X Factor’ position shouldn’t interfere with her itinerary. Lovato will join Spears at the Fox Upfronts, where they will officially announce their casting on the series.

Lovato will likely be a great addition to the somewhat struggling Fox show, as she’ll draw in a younger demographic as well as be able to draw upon her own unique and sometimes dark experiences to coach contestants.

While Spears is said to be raking in $15 million for the show, Lovato’s payday isn’t yet known. She’s only been in talks for a pretty short time — the first reports of her involvement only popped up about two weeks ago, whereas Spears’ name had been swirling about for months. Auditions are scheduled to begin at the end of this month.

Lovato may not be the only Disney alum to sign on, either. Her pal and fellow Mouse House starlet Miley Cyrus is in talks to be the show’s new hostess with the mostess. Congrats, Demz!
