The first homicide in Wichita Falls for 2014 has left two people dead in what police are calling a possible murder-suicide.

Just after 11:00 pm Thursday (Feb 27), officers found 30-year-old Amanda Pardo suffering from a gunshot wound in the street outside a home on the 1600 block of Bluff Street. Her husband, 44-year-old Marcos Pardo, is believed to have been the person who shot her.

Marcos then appeared to have turned the gun on himself and was found dead inside the residence with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It has been reported that the couple, although married, were described as estranged.

After being transported to United Regional, Amanda Pardo was pronounced dead at approximately 11:33 pm.
