Samsung has come up with some creative ways to advertise their LED TVs, but this one might take the cake. It’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit by watching extreme shepherding, an ad that was released in 2009. Will it make you want to buy one of their products? Perhaps, but the video is a lot of fun to watch.

Filming was done in Wales, with several people pulling off the images made by the sheep. Bernard Llewellyn, aka “The General,” spoke with Farmers Weekly about how they created the clip. He stated that they used real shepherds since they knew how to handle the sheep, and he reveals that there may have been a little bit of work done to their images post-production:

We filmed it in the middle of February and it took two very full days for them to get all the footage. We used about 300 sheep and put LED coats on about 100 of them. They told us what their ultimate scenario was and we tried to achieve it – but they have enhanced it digitally as well.

How much was digitally enhanced is still in question, but chances are that a lot of what you’re seeing is real, and you’ll want to watch it again.
