Let's just say you got away with a crime, the dumbest thing you could possibly do is brag about it on any social media.

On Monday, a girl named Emma Way was driving around a corner in Norwich, England, just as a bunch of cyclists came riding in the other direction on a 100-mile race. Emma accidentally hit one of the guys, 29-year-old Toby Hockley and he went flying off his bike.  Fortunately he wasn't badly hurt, but we're not sure Emma knew that, because she just sped off without stopping.

After she got home, Emma tweeted, quote, "Definitely knocked a cyclist off his bike earlier.  I have right of way, he doesn't even pay road tax!  Bloody cyclists." Clearly, Emma didn't realize the police are also on Twitter.  A few people forwarded her tweet to the Norwich Police, who tweeted her, quote, "We suggest you report it at a police station ASAP if not done already and then [message] us."

The police haven't said whether Emma has been arrested or charged yet. If Emma hadn't tweeted about it, she probably would've gotten away with it.  Toby hadn't reported it because he didn't want his girlfriend to worry about him riding safely. So to all you teenage drivers out there right now. Since the weather is nicer expect more bikes on the road and be on the look out.
