Girls in Afghanistan are Skateboarding Like Champs [VIDEO]

Skateistan, located in Kabul in Afghanistan, sees over 400 students per week. Of those kids, 40% are girls with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to skateboard. Students are given a chance to learn several new sports, but the most popular is that of skateboarding. The video states that this activity “builds confidence, creativity, and self-expression.”
