If you're a 90's kid, like myself you grew up watching "Boy Meets World". Well we heard a few months ago that we may see a new spin-off featuring Corey and Topanga. Well news broke today that the Disney Channel has picked up the series.

The sitcom centers around Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), the tween daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews. The story follows Riley and her best friend, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), as they enter the seventh grade. They engage in all sorts of fun and mischief under the watchful eye of their history teacher Riley's dad, Cory. After school, the two hang out at a popular pudding shop run by Riley's mom, Topanga.

Former members of the cast will also reprise their roles. Rider Strong (Sean) will be making guest appearances on the show. "We've been talking, I just want it to be done right," Strong told E!. "I really want it to be classy and good. I want it to be something that makes the fans proud."

Now I can't remember the last time I actually tuned into to a Disney Channel show, but I can assure you I will tune into at least one episode of "Girl Meets World". Just to take that trip down memory lane. "Girl Meets World" is set to air in 2014.
