The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences decided at last night's (February 15) Grammy Awards that Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" was the year's best music video, but Gwen Stefani gave viewers reason to believe hers was the most memorable.

Stefani, whose forthcoming third solo album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, is slated for a March release, filmed the video for her newest single LIVE during a Grammys commercial break. And, save for one potentially intentional roller-skater casualty, "Make Me Like You" basically went off without a hitch.

Above, Gwen — whose hair and makeup evokes a modern day Monroe — emerges from a literal/metaphorical car wreck, cleans herself up with the help of a glam beauty shop staff and sets off into her own technicolor adult playground. There are candy-coated motorcycles to ride, glittery fitted jackets to try on and, of course, a personal roller-skating rink to encircle at her leisure. What a world!

"Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to / Why’d you have to go and make me like you? / I’m so mad at you ’cause now you got me missing you," she croons on the upbeat disco-pop track, which is veeeeery likely about new beau Blake Shelton.
