‘Honey Boo Boo’ Season Premiere Will be Watch-N-Sniff

TLC has announced that the season premiere of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will have a twist – it’s going to be a “Watch-N-Sniff” event!

Now viewers can really feel like they’re part of the family when they’re introduced to the smells of Alana and her family in McIntyre, Georgia. Viewers can purchase a People magazine to obtain their “Watch-N-Sniff” cards, and when a number pops up on the screen you scratch the corresponding number to get a whiff. You can bet it won’t all smell like roses.

In addition to the television show, viewers have a chance to win $5,000 on the TLC site by mixing and matching smells.

Ready to start smelling? Cards will be in the July 5 and July 12 editions of People, along with select Time Warner Cable retail stores. The season premiere then takes place on July 17 at 9:00/8:00 Central.
