It wasn't Rita Repulsa or a swarm of Putties that proved most dangerous to original Power Rangers actor Jason David Frank on the new movie's premiere night — it was his own cellphone.

Frank, who played the Green Ranger (then the White Ranger) on the '90s origin series, told The Hollywood Reporter that — ***SPOILER*** — he was more than eager to catch his cameo as Tommy in the new movie. But eagerness became overzealousness when Frank whipped out his phone to record the moment on the big screen, at which point he wound up getting shown the door.

"I'm the guy in the movie theater who wanted to get a reaction shot of the audience reacting to Amy [Jo Johnson] and me when our cameo appeared," he said. "Right after our cameo appeared, I got escorted out by security because I had a camera in the movie. I didn't see the end of the movie, because security was arguing with me outside and I was trying to tell security, 'That's me in the movie!' And they said, 'I need your phone!' I'm like, 'You're not getting my phone!'"

And so, Frank says he missed the entire cameo, and he's still yet to see it.

"I didn't get to see the end of the movie when they called Tommy. I was so upset," he noted.

Friends don't let friends bring cellphones to exclusive movie premieres.
