And ANOTHER celebrity takes a shot at Kim Kardashian!

While doing an interview with Elle UK, "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm threw in his two cents about our society and its obsession with reality television stars,

"Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f--king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly."

It took a few days for Kardashian to hear what Hamm said, but when she did, she immediately responded on Twitter,

"I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview,"

"I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, 'stupid,' is in my opinion careless."

Hamm isn't the first celebrity to take shots at Kim Kardashian recently.  "Star Trek: The Next Generation" star and geek icon Wil Wheaton appeared on the BBC America show "The Nerdist" where he called the entire Kardashian family dumb and worthless, and said they are more depressing to him than Hitler.  A few months before that, Daniel Craig took a few shots at Kim Kardashian and her family, saying the entire family acted like idiots on television and are paid millions for it.

As it is a common trend to accuse Kim Kardashian, her family, and other reality stars in general for acting like idiots on television and being praised and rewarded for it, do you think there is any validity to the statements and ideas presented by Jon Hamm, Wil Wheaton, and Daniel Craig?  Are the Kardashians really contributing to the betterment of our society, or helping to dumb it down?  With comments like these, her 72-day marriage, and accusations of slave labor, maybe Kim needs to re-evaluate her public persona and decide if that's the image she really wants to put out there.
