Since Justin Bieber doesn't have enough problems these days -- most of them stemming from the fact that he's Justin Bieber -- the teen pop star is now being sued by a photographer for allegedly assaulting him in a parking lot with some seriously wicked moves.

The altercation happened back in May of 2012, when the Biebs was still dating flame Selena Gomez, but a lawsuit wasn't filed until yesterday (June 26).

Paparazzo Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran claims the singer kicked and punched him outside of a shopping center after Jose snapped photos of him exiting the movies with Gomez.

The story goes that before the assault, the Biebs started to drive away in his Mercedes, but then abruptly changed his mind, got out of the car and started running toward the photographer, jumping "into the air from 6 to 8 feet away to deliver a martial-arts-type kick" to Duran's stomach before punching him in the face and pushing him up against a parked car.

Sounds like someone's been watching too much 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.'

The suit also claims Gomez later returned to look for her cellphone, and she apologized for Justin's behavior.

The lawsuit seeks an undisclosed sum for "severe and extreme emotional distress" and negligence. (In case you don't already know, "undisclosed sum" is legalese for "a whole butt-load of cash.")
