Beliebers, take note: Justin Bieber does NOT want your hats, or any presents of any kind — at least, not while he's performing.

During his Purpose World Tour stop in Atlantic City, New Jersey on July 15, the Canadian pop star threw a mild tantrum after a fan launched a gift onto the stage. The offering, apparently a hat, was definitely not appreciated by the "Love Yourself" singer, who promptly tossed it back, along with a few not so loving words.

"Take this moment to listen, and try not to give me a hat or whatever you’re trying to throw onto the stage right now, because I probably don’t want that shit," Bieber — who once gifted a fan his chewed, saliva-ridden gum mid-concert — brutally chided as the audience erupted into cheers.

"Sorry, that was mean," he added, laughing as he (probably) crushed the generous Belieber's soul into a billion tiny pieces.

However, the Purpose artist did have a, uh, purpose for the outburst: The impromptu one-sided gift exchange interrupted his introductory banter for the title track of his latest album.

"Sorry for throwing your hat," the pop star added. "But you ruined the moment."

We only have one question: Is it too late now to say "Sorry" and mean it? (Damn, these jokes write themselves sometimes.)
