Katy Perry Appears In Expansion Pack For The Sims 3

Showing no slow down due to issues in her personal life, Katy Perry will be appearing as herself in a new expansion pack for The Sims 3 called "Showtime".  According to the official website,

Share your rise to fame in The Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector’s Edition with unique Katy Perry themed in-game content and an exclusive poster. Your Sim can become a superstar singer, acrobat, or magician and even moonlight as a DJ. New, optional features allow you to connect with friends and share your showtime moments through in-game newsfeeds, messaging, and live updates.

Perry worked closely with Electronic Arts on clothing designs and stage props that players will be able to use in game.  Perry is said to be very excited about working with EA and being part of the Sims world,

"It's cool to see the Sims' stage performances in 'The Sims 3: Showtime' decked out just like my California Dreams Tour -- even my cotton candy video screens are in there!" Perry said in a statement. "I always like to think of myself as a cartoon, and now I'm a Sim!"

Due out in March, the Katy Perry Collector's Edition of "The Sims 3: Showtime" is available for pre-order.
