Weeks ago, fans of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber attacked Kidd Kraddick for a comment that Kidd never made.  Story was that Kidd and his crew made jokes at the expense of Selena Gomez's mother Mandy's pregnancy.  Word got back to Selena that Kidd had even insinuated that Mandy should have an abortion or the pregnancy should end in a miscarriage.  As we know now, Kidd never made these remarks.  The worst thing Kidd said was that maybe Mandy was too old to have a baby.  Unfortunately, he was right.

A month after Selena tweeted the exciting news that her mother and step-father were expecting their first child together, Mandy suffered a miscarriage.  Selena was in attendance at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in Los Angeles when she got the news, at which time she left immediately.

Gomez was set to perform at two holiday themed shows at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago Saturday and at 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theater in Seattle Sunday.  Due to her mother's situation, Selena has cancelled her appearances at both shows citing a "family emergency".  The entire Seattle show had to be cancelled after Gomez back out as well as One Republic after their singer, Ryan Tedder, was ordered by doctors to rest his voice.  Gomez is still scheduled to appear at MTV's New Years Eve special.

As of now, Kidd has yet to publically comment on the situation.  Be sure to listen Monday morning at 6a to see what Kidd has to say.
