“Kiss Apples” To Help Freshen Breath For Your Next Kiss
It's been a great night out on the town. You've had some great (but pungent) food, maybe a drink or 3, and it's time to lean in for the awaited kiss. That's when you realize your breath is more like something that a cat just yacked up.
Researchers in Korea are coming up with a solution to this problem. While breath mints and such can mask odors in the mouth, apples do a great job of freshening.
Apples help freshen breath naturally and remove pieces of food stuck in the teeth, but the ping-pong ball-sized apple would be easier to carry around, and far less filling to gulp at a critical moment.
Everyone knows that apples are good for the body, but I can't help but wonder what might happen to a small apple if it sat in my pocket all evening. Nevertheless, those who are working on the project expect these apples to be available in the next two years.
Unfortunately, it may be a bit of a mood downer if you ask your sweetie to hold on while you munch an apple. But the reward sounds pretty sweet!
