Katy Perry was recently named the new face of Moschino, but Lady Gaga's dog may have just one-upped her: She's officially leading Coach's latest campaign.

Gaga's French bulldog, Miss Asia Kinney, is the first of many celebrity dogs set to star in the Coach Pups campaign, because nothing sells handbags like an animal who will never be able to use one. The photo itself, shot by photographer Steven Meisel, features Miss Asia with pearls around her neck, sitting with a bag draped over her (because, again, she doesn't have opposable thumbs to actually hold it). The bag and dog are nearly size-equivalent, so if you have a basic grasp on the average height and width of a French bulldog, you'll be able to properly estimate just how many VOSS water bottles you can fit inside the bag.

Gaga commented on her dog's newly found modeling success just like any proud stage mom would, saying, "I am so proud of Miss Asia! She's a natural in front of the camera, and we're both so excited that the iconic Steven Meisel shot her for Coach's pup campaign! I really love getting to watch my best friend be a star."

Check out the photo of Miss Asia and her purple handbag above and let us know how effective, influential and iconic you think a campaign of animals selling fashion will ultimately prove to be.

UPDATE: Watch Asia in action in the first glamorous promo spot for her Coach campaign. Work that camera, girl!
