Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Serious Car Crash

TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan was in a bad car crash this afternoon and is in the emergency room at a Los Angeles hospital.

Lohan was driving on California's Pacific Coast Highway in a black Porsche, rumored to be a rental, when it collided with an 18-wheeler. TMZ is also reporting that Lindsay was coherent enough to say that the accident was not her fault and that the truck cut her off.

The accident totaled her car sending both Lohan and the passenger, her assistant, to a local hospital where doctors are "performing tests"

Witnesses told TMZ that both Lindsay and her assistant were seen bloodied and bruised. There has been no word yet as to the exact nature or severity of any injuries.

Authorities are saying that no alcohol was involved.  The truck driver and Lindsay were both sober.
