Kim Kardashian doesn't have much to prove these days. From landing her newly-unveiled Forbes cover to ranking among the top-paid 100 celebrities in the world, the reality-star-turned-media mogul has earned her stripes with savvy business tactics and an unwavering commitment to self-branding. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent, indeed. But one little kid out there is still curious as to how the pop culture icon became famous to begin with... so he asked her himself!

On Monday (July 11), Kim was visiting her famously private childhood BFF Allison Azoff Statter when she decided to let her pal's young son Sid perform a cute impromptu interview with her. Recording the exchange on Snapchat, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star answered his rapid-fire questions about her celebrity status.

"Why are you on magazines?" the boy asked straightaway.

"Why am I? I don't know... because I like magazines," Kardashian replied.

Then he got more to the point: "Are you famous?"

After a brief pause, she sagely responded, "Am I famous? Um, I don't like to use that term..."

Finally, Sid asked Kim Kardashian the one (somewhat awkward) question everyone's likely asked about the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood diva at one point: "How are you famous?"

Self-aware as ever, Kim simply answered, "How am I famous? That’s up for question too."

The person filming, however, had a different (and perhaps more accurate?) answer: "She's got a big booty!"

Watch the adorably innocent back-and-forth below.

Naturally, fans are chuffed with little Sid and his burgeoning celebrity interview skills — as well as entertained by his unintended shade:

But hard-hitting questions about fame weren't the little boy's only inquiry. In another snap, Sid sweetly asked Kim if she could make an emoji — ahem, a Kimoji — for his mommy.
