Man Steals Woman’s Dog on Worst First Date Ever

We know first dates can be stressful, but felonious? A New Jersey woman arguably had the worst first date of all time when the guy she went out with stole her TV and dog.

Following what started out as a good date, the couple, who met through an online dating website, returned to the woman’s home.

According to the woman, she left her date, known as Joel, alone in her home briefly. However, it was enough time for him to make off with her Samsung HDTV and Yorkshire Terrier.

The value of the dog and TV? A combined $7,000.

We were shocked by the price of the dog ($4,000!), but apparently some Yorkshire Terriers can pull in high price tags.

Thankfully, the story has a happy ending — well, at least for the woman. Days later, she discovered the dog and TV in her backyard. The thief realized that the woman had his info, including photos from his online dating website profile.

Of course, it was too little, too late. The police now have his real identity and could press charges.

Listen to the Kidd Kraddick show discuss this stupid thief below.
