Mariah Carey Explains Meaning of New Album Title

The title of Mariah Carey‘s 15th studio album is supposedly ‘The Art of Letting Go,’ according to a pre-order link on Walmart’s site.

You can see it here.

Carey also issued a tweet, talking about her feelings of melancholy and the act of letting go of the album and handing it off to her label, who will get it to her fans, which may be related to her album title and why she named it such.

Carey’s newest single ‘#beautiful,’ featuring Miguel, is one of her best in years. If ‘The Art of Letting Go’ features more of this style, which is the vocally-driven, ’90s-era Mariah, then Lambs are in for a real sonic treat.
