Fresh Tunes of the Week

Eminem, ‘Rap God’

Off The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is a nonstop barrage of rapid-fire, neck-breaking staccato syllables? Eminem's just-released "Rap God" video has the visual assault to match the verbal. And like some immortal "Max Headroom"-type of otherworldly being, Em secures his musical throne against all usurpers.

Justin Bieber, “Roller Coaster”

Here's a statement that will shock absolutely no one: Bieber's love life has been a series of intense ups and downs. In many cases, Justin's described his emotional lows in songs such as "Bad Day," "Heartbreaker," "All That Matters," and "Recovery," and other times he's covered the upswings in tracks like "All Bad" and "PYD." Today, however, Justin's combined the peaks and valleys of falling in love in, "Roller Coaster." On a side note I don't recognize Bieber's voice I think someones been using the auto tune lately.

Jamie Lynn Spears, 'How Could I Want More'

We've always known that Britney Spears' little sis, Jamie Lynn Spears, had country leanings. Aside from being raised in Kentwood, La., just last year Jamie performed "I Look Up To You" (a song inspired by Brit) at Nashville's famed venue 3rd And Lindsley. Since then, it's been quiet on the Jamie Lynn "solo country artist" front. Until now, that is, because Jamie's just dropped her first official single, a simple and sweet country ditty called "How Could I Want More."

David Guetta, “One Voice” ft. Mikky Ekko

What's better than hitting da clurrrrb for wild night?? Hitting da clurrrrb for a wild night to benefit a charity! Cue: David Guetta and Mikky Ekko's "One Voice," the musical accompaniment to Guetta's partnership with the U.N. that he wrote to support various charities and causes. (BTW, if "partying for a cause" were an acceptable day job, we would FULLY apply.)

Mash Up Heaven

When it comes to mashups the latest gone viral is by two who have called each other out through the media and all I have to say is WOW check out this mashup from Miley Cyrus, Sinead O’Conner: Nothing Compares to You/Wrecking Ball.

Did You Know...

Rapper 2 Chainz played college basketball, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA in 3 years at a 4 year school. Never judge a book by it's cover.

You Gotta Hear This
