It’s not that long ago that technology was developed to allow men to experience the pain of childbirth. Now Huggies has gone in a different direction by allowing dads to feel their baby kick in the womb, but feeling it for themselves. Using a sensor pad that attaches to Mom’s belly, it transfers information to a belt worn by Dad, giving him a real-time sense of what it feels like to expectant mothers when they feel their unborn baby moving around.

The product was tested for about four months prior to trying it out on expectant dads, and their reactions were priceless. When their babies moved, the dad’s faces lit up with excitement. One man says, “I can feel him” before breaking out into tears.

If you’ve ever been pregnant, you understand what it feels like to have a child squirming around in your belly, but it’s always been something that was only really understood by women. Though it’s not the exact same thing, it’s really cool that men now get their chance to feel it for themselves. There’s no word on where you have to go or what you have to do to try this product and the video comes out of Argentina, so it may be some time before we see it here in the U.S.
