Miley Cyrus Engaged to Liam Hemsworth

After splitting up twice since 2010, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are now engaged to be married. Miley and Liam met on the set of Miley's movie 'The Last Song' in 2009. Back then, Liam was pretty much unknown, but now he plays Gale in the 'Hunger Games' movies and he is also in 'The Expendables 2, which opens in theaters this August.

Miley told People magazine,

I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."

Well-wishes came pouring into Miley's Twitter from her followers to which she replied,

Thank you for all the love today :)  I'm happy to share this news with you all.  I feel like all my dreams are coming true.  Have a great day."

Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley's dad, even took to Twitter saying,

All I ever hoped for as a Daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams.  To find happiness... peace of mind... and someday know... true love."

Ok, so what about the rock Liam put on Miley's finger?  People magazine describes it as "A 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. The center stone is an antique dating back to the late 19th century."
