Miley Cyrus heard the rumors swirling about a possible hook-up with Justin Bieber, and she's none too pleased. So she's apparently taken to calling into radio shows to set the record straight.

Miley dialed up the Kane show on Hot 99.5 in D.C. (via TMZ) to chat up the host, who then brought up her recent string of sightings with the Biebs.

"I'm engaged!" she told the host. "I'm engaged. That is impossible."

Taken literally, "impossible" means either Liam Hemsworth is making her wear a chastity belt, or celebrity engagements now involve hoodoo magic that physically prohibits couples from touching anyone else. (In other news, we're guessing the wedding is back on. Again.)

She also commented on Amanda Bynes, who took a swipe at her via Twitter on June 12.

When the radio host asked Miley about it, she said, "I won't even entertain that ... I think it's all so sad that I don't even want to add any fuel to that fire."

Which was a classy move. But, of course, that sentiment lasted all of three seconds before she began squirting lighter fuel all over it. (So close, Miley. So close.)

"I was rooting for her comeback until you start attacking me," Miley added. "And, you know, I just thought it was hilarious that she'd mention my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter."

"It's just funny, because the moment you're a trending topic, it's funny how many people want your name to come out of their mouth because somehow they can associate and maybe they could be a trending topic."

Then again maybe Amanda said no such thing and that the tweet was mocked up in an attempt to become a trending topic. Or maybe Amanda's good friend Barbie was responsible for the whole mess. Hard to say.
