Showing that they’re a boy band capable of both being good sports and keeping up with the times, the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, collectively NKOTBSB, covered one of the very groups that may usurp their pop throne: One Direction!

The BSB half of the super group strolled onstage at the O2 Arena in London singing ‘What Makes You Beautiful,’ sending fans old and young into a tizzy. The fact that they tipped their hat to the newcomers in their native England was not only clever, but also really classy. We love when veterans and newcomers get along — it makes the pop landscape so much more peaceful!

NKOTBSB will be on the road in Europe until mid-May, so fans who haven’t caught them yet still have a chance.

European fans who couldn’t make it out to the show and want something a bit more high quality than YouTube clips are in luck: they can catch the performance in theaters! “It’s so exciting to know that even though we weren’t able to bring our show to certain places in Europe, our fans will still have the opportunity to experience it like they were there,” Howie D said in a press release. “We can’t wait for everyone to see the show!”

Now all that’s missing is a cover of the Wanted — maybe they’re saving that for next week!
